    1. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Nate Hayes to approve the May 18, 2026, regular board meeting minutes.  Motion passes (6-0)

    2. Motion by Craig Severs second by Boyd Johnson to approve the Invoices, Financial Statements, Bank Reconciliation, Wire Transfers, and Purchase Card Statement.  Motion passes (6-0)

    3. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve the appointments, resignations, and retirements:

      1. Appointments:  Jack Cook - Summer Maintenance, Shaedon Bowman - Summer Maintenance, Caden Oleson - HS Social Studies, Sadie Neist - Paraprofessional

      2. Resignations:  William Moeller - Bus Driver, Charles Hammons - Custodian, Mary Merchant - PreK-12 Principal, Kyle Abendroth - Custodian

      3. Retirements:  Larry Eason - Custodian

Motion by Jerem Haack second by Kayla Johnson to approve final reading of policies:  410 Family and Medical Leave Policy, 503 Student Attendance, 515 Protection and Privacy of Pupil Records, 530 Immunization Records, 533 Wellness, 615 Testing Accommodations, Modifications, and Exemptions for IEPs, Section 504 Plans, and LEP Students, 701 Establishment and Adoption of School District Budget, 721 Procurement.  Motion passes (6-0)

  3. Motion by  Boyd Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve the Health & Safety Agreement with NWSC for FY27-FY29.  Motion passes (6-0)

  4. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Nate Hayes to approve Resolution 2025/2026-22 accepting a donation of $50.00 from the American Legion Auxiliary for the Ticket to Read program.  Motion passes (6-0)

  5. Motion by Kayla Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve Resolution 2025/2026-23 accepting over $3,000.00 from the community surrounding Lake of the Woods School for their donations to various teacher wish lists.  Motion passes (6-0)

  6. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Kayla Johnson to approve Resolution 2025/2026-24 accepting a donation/grant of $5,000.00 from the Nibbe Family Foundation to purchase an Inchy Book Machine.  Motion passes (6-0)

  7. Motion byBoyd Johnson_ second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve Resolution 2025/2026-25 accepting a donation of over $1,200.00 from the AAA Booster Club and two community members for the STEAM Room.  Motion passes (6-0)

  8. Motion by Kayla Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve Resolution 2025/2026-26 accepting a donation of over $200.00 from Lake of the Woods Designs and one community member for The CLAWset.  Motion passes (6-0)

  9. Motion by Boyd Johnson_ second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve Resolution 2025/2026-27 accepting a donation of over $6,750.00 from the Bethlehem Lutheran LWML, Salvation Army, and the Women of Today for the health office.  Motion passes (6-0)

  10. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve Resolution 2025/2026-28 appointing  Scott Fitzsimonds, Superintendent, as Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) and Tracy Cook, District Assessment and MARSS Coordinator, to act as the proxy IOwA to add and remove names only for Lake of the Woods Independent School District 390, effective July 1, 2026.  Motion passes (6-0)

  11. Motion by Jerem Haack second by Kayla Johnson to approve the 2026-2027 school year budget.  Motion passes (6-0)

  12. Motion by Kayla Johnson_ second by Nate Hayes to approve the MSHSL Resolution for Membership for the 2026/27 school year.  Motion passes (6-0)

  13. Motion by Boyd Johnson second by Jerem Haack to approve the Insurance & Risk Management Proposal from MarshMcLennan Agency, effective July 1, 2026.  Motion passes (6-0)

  14. Motion by  Jerem Haack second by Robyn Sonstegard to approve the Daycare Lease Agreements with: Mercil, Jenica - Tree House Tots, Walton, Trina - Little Friends Daycare.  Motion passes (6-0)
