Davy Lee Nesmoe, D.C., age 69, passed away on February 22, 2025, at Lakewood Health Center in Baudette, Minnesota.

Davy was born on January 10, 1956, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Marlow and Ina (Olson) Nesmoe. His family later moved to Baudette, Minnesota, where he was raised on a farm. Davy was baptized and confirmed in his faith. He graduated from Baudette High School in 1974, where he developed his lifelong passion for athletics.

Following graduation, Davy attended Northland Community College in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, where he played hockey. He continued his education at Bemidji State University, where he met Terry Biddell. The couple married in November 1980 and were blessed with two sons, Brett and Evan.

Davy's career path was marked by versatility and dedication. He worked as an athletic trainer for a Chicago Cubs farm team before moving with his family to Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. There, he operated a second-hand store aptly named "Davy's Used a Bit." The family later relocated to the Twin Cities, where Davy pursued his education at Northwestern College of Chiropractic. Upon completion, they returned to Baudette, where he established his chiropractic clinic, which he ran until retirement.

A man of many passions, Davy enjoyed snowmobiling, bird hunting, and spending time with his beloved dogs—often joking that "his longest relationships were with his dogs." Work was extremely important to him, but he always made time for family gatherings and outdoor adventures. He was an avid gardener and fisherman, and he enjoyed bird watching and deer hunting while deeply appreciating nature. Davy was also a proud and patriotic American citizen who embraced life with enthusiasm and a love of fun.

His mother, Ina Nesmoe, survives Davy; sons Brett and Evan Nesmoe; sisters Linda (Toby) Burk, Judi (John) Dodds, and Marilyn Sugden (Bob). He was preceded in death by his father, Marlow Nesmoe; his brother; and his nephews, Shawn and Dawn Burke.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
