Etta Erickson, 88

A Funeral Service for Etta F. Erickson of Baudette, MN, was held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Clementson Lutheran Church in Clementson, MN. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Clementson Cemetery.

Etta Faye Erickson, 88, of Baudette, MN, formerly of Warroad, MN, was born April 4, 1936, in the Winner area of Beltrami State Forest in Minnesota, to Oliver and Edna (Morehouse) Lamb.

Etta was married to Lamont Erickson on January 23, 1954 in Warroad. They farmed and raised three children on their farm near Clementson, MN, for more than 60 years. This was their dream. Etta was a jack of all trades, and she mastered many of them. Her later years were spent working for Rowell Laboratories. When she retired from there, she spent her last years on the farm. Later in life, Lamont and Etta traveled more with friends and family. Etta was a hard worker and she enjoyed a long life.

Some of her favorite things were playing cards, bingo, and family gatherings. Many people can attest to what an avid, serious fisherwoman she was.

Etta passed away at Lakewood Care Center in Baudette on June 26, 2024.

She is survived by her children Tony, Jack, and Laurie (Kenny Larson), along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family.

Etta is preceded in death by her husband Lamont, several brothers and sisters, and other family.
