POSITION OPENING

TEMPORARY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN/INTERN

Public Works Department

GENERAL DUTIES:

Candidate will assist on county highway projects. They will also perform construction observation, conduct site surveys and assist in routine maintenance/labor on county roads. This job assignment will begin at the end of May/Early June, 2024 and will go until end of August/early September, 2024.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years old to operate power equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class D Minnesota Driver’s license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong interest in civil engineering or schooling/backing in civil engineering

• Past experience with Trimble survey equipment and Autodesk software

Salary: $16.83-$21.30
