Paul Pedersen, Ervin Simson, Nels Pedersen and Clarence Schuh in 1942 on the hood of a 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe.  Paul, Ervin, and Nels all served in the armed forces during WW II.   Paul received a Purple Heart for wounds suffered during action in Okinawa.  They all returned safely from war, and Paul went on to be an industrious and successful farmer in Williams. But tragically, Nels passed away unexpectedly six weeks after coming home.  Paul and Nels rest in peace in Graceton cemetery.
