REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

CARETAKER

LAKE OF THE WOODS COUNTY BOY SCOUT PARK,

EAGLE LANDING & CLEMENTSON PARK

The Lake of the Woods County Public Works Department will receive sealed proposals until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2023 for maintenance and grounds keeping at the Lake of the Woods County Boy Scout Park located at Graceton Beach, Eagle Landing located in Clementson, and Clementson Park, also located in Clementson. Description of maintenance activities include:

1. Weekly mowing and site-check;

2. Cleanup of any or all debris in the park area (there are no refuse canisters at the park).

Caretaking activities are to be performed from the months of May through October on a weekly basis or as needed. Caretaker must provide all grounds keeping equipment and supplies.

As an independent contractor, Caretaker must secure contractor’s liability insurance with limits per statute of $1,000,000 per person and $1,500,000 per occurrence during the life of this agreement.

Proposals should be expressed in terms of a monthly contract fee. Proposal forms are available at the Public Works Department Office, 306 8th Avenue S.E., Baudette, MN 56623 or by calling 218-634-1767. Completed proposals should be mailed or delivered to the Public Works Department Office by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2023.
